Veterinarian

Prior to veterinary school, Dr. Diaz worked in research at the University of Florida, and it is this background that compels her to trust medical and nutritional recommendations that arise from science and peer-reviewed discussion rather than internet opinions.

Dr. Mary Ann Vande Linde

Veterinarian

Dr. Mary Ann Vande Linde is a graduate of the University of Georgia’s College of Veterinary Medicine. In addition to private practice experience, her career background includes teaching at various veterinary schools and colleges, technician schools, and veterinary conferences; consulting on practice management issues; developing mentoring and coaching retreats for women practice owners; as well as working with the management teams at such corporations as Hill’s Pet Nutrition, IDEXX and Zoetis Laboratories, Pet Health Network, and Novartis Animal Health US.

Dr. Vande Linde is nationally recognized as a leader in the field of veterinary communications. She is widely respected for her ability to inspire others through her guidance in interactive training programs, strategic planning, problem solving, and marketing programs and services. Her concentration on excellent preventative care and good communication between pet parent and doctor are contributing factors to her growing reputation as a voice for total pet wellness and quality of life. In 2008, Dr. Vande Linde founded Vande Linde & Associates to focus on all aspects of Exam Room Communication Excellence.

We’re excited to welcome Dr. Swanson, a recent graduate of Oklahoma State University, to our veterinary team! She has a strong passion for small animal and exotic medicine and is excited about building lasting relationships with both pets and their owners. She has a special interest in wildlife medicine and hopes to incorporate that into her career in the future. Outside the clinic, Dr. Swanson enjoys having some downtime by the water, reading, and staying active with her two dogs. She has recently moved to the area and is excited to become part of the local community. Dr. Swanson looks forward to meeting you and your furry family members soon!

Practice Manager

Yarleen R. comes to us with over 25 years of experience in animal welfare, customer service, and coaching and developing individuals looking to grow and succeed in this field. Once a receptionist in a private clinic in Jacksonville, FL, where she learned most of her skills, she then ventured into learning shelter medicine as well. She brings with her Milani, a rescued Yorkshire Terrier who was brought in for euthanasia at 4 months of age due to a liver shunt. Ms. R. was able to help with her surgery, and Milani now lives a happy and spoiled life at 10 years of age and counting.

Carol comes to us with 15 years of veterinary technician, grooming, and surgical assistance experience. She enjoys cooking and hanging out with family and friends. Frankie is her furry companion in this picture.

Desirae is a mom of two girls and one American Staffordshire Terrier. She has four years of experience as a veterinary technician and is currently pursuing her associate’s degree in veterinary technology. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her kids, reading, and playing video games.

Jasmine is a versatile veterinary assistant who brings energy and humor to every interaction. You’ll find her working up front, in the back, or wherever the need is. When she isn’t up front or in the back working, she is spending time with her husband and pigeon companion, Hedwig. Jasmine rescued Hedwig from under a car in 2017, and since then, they have been an inseparable pair—she even flies around outside! Jasmine enjoys reading, video games, and cooking. She plans on going to school to become a licensed veterinary technician and then move on to become a veterinarian.
